Welcome to Delhi
One's mind usually becomes a chaotic hub of confusion and disorder when they hear the noise of the world. It's a vile world, but this chaos is beautiful in it's own way and is very essential for transforming our mind into a peaceful palette wherein we try to capture it's essence by immersing into our imaginary canvases through our photography skills.
Photography would be monotonous if everything we capture was totally optimised and predictable. Chaos is what transcends our minds into exciting places and what feeds our brain thoughts to be thought of. This is why the street photography that we see is so amusing and appealing because of the generalized yet differentiated bustle and randomness of people and places. Street photography for our society is bounded within our very own Delhi, Dilwalon ki Delhi. The historic city of Delhi is the perfect place if someone wants to taste the real hustle of the country.
The capital of India is home to around 19 million people. If you’ve never been to India before, you're in for a surprise. Delhi is a chaotic and intriguing tangle of small streets swarming of anything that moves and breathes. The hustle and bustle can be overwhelming indeed.
From Delhi’s Chandni Chowk to India Gate, the capital city is brimming with historical monuments, UNESCO certified World Heritage sites, cafes, bars, a lit nightlife and delicious street food.
Explore the narrow lanes of Old Delhi, soaked in the old and golden world charm of Qutub Minar. Don't forget to go on a food trail in the scanty lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of the busiest and oldest streets of Delhi, which is a chaotic shopping street lined by hawkers and porters along narrow lanes offering a medieval bazaar experience. There are entire streets dedicated to a particular kind of food like the Parathe Wali Gully, being the most famous lane it ensures that you never go home with an empty-belly.
In the heart of Delhi, is our very own Connaught place, with its markets full of tactfully rolled out books on corridors, tiny halt for cigarettes and candies, the cheap aviator glares, bizarre grey market with pirated versions of Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma merchandise and what not.
Delhi is filled with flyovers that carry the heaviest of traffics in the city which is a bustle in itself.
Amongst this intriguing bustle, we plan on taking you to the full for a chaotic yet memorable experience of Delhi, so brace yourselves.
