About us

The Film & Photography Society of College of Vocational Studies is one of the most successful societies of Delhi University. We, at Zephyr believe that photography is more than just about arrangement of complex equipment. It’s about playing with the full spectrum of light and making the ordinary look extraordinary. Our ability to capture different fragments of life with different perspectives and to be able to redefine it through our passion has helped us not only grow as a society but also as a family, as we strongly believe that there is unity in diversity.

Zephyr aims at growing as a team and a family consisting of illustrious photographers, film makers and designers. Through the years Zephyr has maintained a wide reach on social media with a total of 11K likes on Facebook and 1,800 followers on Instagram and winning numerous laurels for our college including Photography and Trailer Making competition in IIT Kanpur 2018-20.

Zephyr has always taken up every quest of adventure to capture the world through its lens. We have successfully collaborated and organized many events that have been a memorable addition to our numerous tales and then beautifully presented it through our pictures. With sections devoted primarily to capturing events, exhibitions, and filming content in and outside our college.

Zephyr has collaborated with many colleges, as well as media houses since its very inception.

Every year Zephyr organizes its Annual Photography Exhibition, 'INVISION' during our college's cultural fest which consists of some intriguing themes and amazing work from our very own members. Invision is a celebration of our year long hardwork, showcasing various elating themes of photography, as well as life. This year due to Covid-19 pandemic, we were unable to put up a physical exhibition and hence took the initiative of creating our very own online Photography Exhibition Blog. This blog will feature a wide range of art, spanning across different dimensions of photography through our perspective.
